Why do you need a .NO domain
.NO domain is the TLD that represents the domain for the country ‘Norway’. So if you are a resident, individual or a business in Norway, you can register your online or real business entity as a Domain name with the TLD .NO

Who can get a .NO domain
An individual
- You must be 18 years old living in Norway and having a registered personal number.
- You must as normal use a PID (an anonymous identification linked to your Norwegian personal number).
- Here you have a limit of having a maximum of 5 domains having the .NO TLD on your name while you can continue to own other TLDs as much as you want.
A Business
- You must be a registered business and have an organization number. When you de-register your organization, you will have to forfeit the domain as well.
- Always have a registered judicial contact at your business who is responsible for the domain
- There is no limit as such on owning .NO TLD domains or other TLD domains

You will need to enter all your personal details (may come up auto filled from your account / profile) , in case of an Individual the last field is very important which helps identify who you actually are in Norway, the same may replace with Org. No. for if you are a business.

- How to get your PID, in order to register a .NO domain, you will need to identify yourself that you are a valid resident or citizen in Norway. Here comes the use of PID. A PID is an anonymous ID generated by NORID for those individuals or residents of Norway which is linked to their Personnummer / Norwegian Personal number.
