Team Viewer – Your trial period has expired.
Installing Team Viewer for personal use on a machine where a commercial license was in use (and no longer active), will still get you a message that reads as “Your trial period has expired”
This can also be the case when you installed Team Viewer for commercial and personal use, and the trial expires while you would only like to continue the use for personal use.

Before we tell you, what has to be done, let’s look at some details behind the scenes.
- When you install the commercial version of team viewer, your computer is registered at Team Viewer’s licensing servers as a machine using the commercial license.
- Thereafter even if you uninstall the commercial version, and re-install as for personal use team viewer will keep prompting you that the license has expired as Team Viewer is running in the commercial mode and the license is not active anymore.
Solution, how to get rid of it:
Now to get this resolved, use this link to “Request the reset to Personal use“ and get your PC de-registered from team viewers servers as a machine using commercial version, and ready to be used as for personal, non-commercial use.
You will need to provide a few details as : Name, E-Mail address, Affected TeamViewer ID, Usage explanation (mention about your Team Viewer usage)
Once you have done the same you will receive an email confirmation from team viewer in a couple of days depending on number of requests piled up at their desk, stating that your machine has been reset and now you can re-install Team viewer as for personal use.
Once you get this information, you are now ready to install Team viewer for personal use again.
